Use the panels to enclose the entire space of a professional environment, and they will deliver superior performance matching that of a simplified anechoic chamber. In a room such as a studio, they absorb unwanted echoes across the entire frequency range. (Sound absorption performance: 100 Hz to 10 kHz) The SHIZUKA Stillness Panel is capable of absorbing or insulating a large volume of sound. You can also install the panel in your preferred location over a desired area to absorb sound only in that part of the room.

Features and Performance of the SHIZUKA Stillness Panel

The basic structure of the panel features the use of three types of materials, which differ from each other in specific gravity. These materials are used inside the panel. The 0.01 mm mesh, which is less reflective than many other materials, converts the incoming sound into thermal energy in a highly efficient manner. This material alone can absorb sound in a limited frequency range. Behind it, however, are sound-absorbing layers of different materials, which enable the panel to absorb sound in a wide frequency range. The sound absorbing material used in the inside has air layers that are finer than those of conventional materials. These layers firmly contain the incoming sound.

You can create a simplified anechoic chamber by connecting multiple panels. In addition, the back surface of the panel uses a reflective material. This means you can create an ideal acoustic environment on your own by using the panels for absorbing or reflecting sound.
